I hope we can all ignore the creepy specky bloke in this clip, and concentrate of the important bits: Lulu's dancing. This song, It Only Takes A Minute is of course originally a Tavares number, and in the same episode of TOTP, Ruby Flipper danced to their Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel. And a busy night it was too: here Lulu's wearing the same peasant girl outfit that all the girls wore for the Beatles' Back in the USSR, that same episode.
Since this is Ruby-Flipper-era Lulu, she's got her original cutie-pie hairstyle, rather than the later perm that so many critics seem to dislike. (Not me, though: I'm happy with any Lulu at all, whatever the hairstyle.) Many thanks to Amy for this clip.
