Here's possibly the earliest Pan's People clip in existance, recently posted on YouTube by Sambda. Thanks Sambda. Pan's People (at this stage only Flick, Deedee and Andrea) on Beat-Club, German TV's equivalent of TOTP, dancing to Jan & Dean's Bucket T In 1968. A great example of period go-go dancing with some lame "exciting" zoomy camera work and a bit of "psychedelic" strobing. Epileptics beware. It's only slightly marred by the appearance, at the end, of a young Div Lame Travesty.

Hadeel, my regular correspondent, has sent me another YouTube link, asking if I can supply a downloadable version.
Like more and more YouTube Pan's People and Legs & Co. clips, the uploader has removed the original music and replaced it with another piece. In this case, the original Barry Manilow track has been replaced with Status Quo's Down Down.
So here's the original version...
...and here's the download link (28.7 MB).

Here's part of Top of the Pops: The True Story: I've edited out all the boring stuff about disc jockeys and pop stars: so what's left is mostly about Legs & Co, preceded by some stuff about the Go Jos and Pan's People.
Sue fans rejoice: after going unmentioned in the Pan's People documentary I recently posted, she gets more attention here. We also get the only Go Jos clip that always gets played, and another showing of the Porridge "Beautiful Babs" clip. Enjoy!

I must apologise for being silent for so long: it's been a busy month. To make up for it, here's a real treat: Digging the Dancing Queens, a half-hour documentary on Pan's People, with dozens of rare clips, and interviews. Featuring a wry John Peel, and Tony Blackburn proving what a complete Male Bimbo he is. Himbo? Mimbo? Anyway, I've never seem him say anything that wasn't banal, and glaringly obvious, and this interview is no exception. Most of Dionysus' Darlings get a chance to speak, though. One downside is that Sue has been passed over entirely. But still a treat nonetheless.
